Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities
  • Conduct outreach through calls, meetings, networking events, referrals, and industry associations.
  • Assist in developing sales proposals, presentations, and other related materials.
  • Track pipeline development, sales goals, and account activity.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and workforce challenges.

Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with employer groups, brokers, consultants, and community partners.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Serve as a trusted resource regarding benefit offerings, enrollment processes, and service support.
  • Educate prospective and existing clients on health plans, ancillary benefits, compliance basics, and trust participation requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including underwriting, client services, and compliance to support onboarding and renewals.
  • Assist with open enrollment meetings and member education events as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, customer service, insurance, employee benefits, or agricultural business.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned territory.
